Bringing a Splash of Colour to the City!

The Fruiterers brought our own brand of vibrancy and colour to the Lord Mayor’s Show, on November 12th, with a large group of liverymen and their families volunteering to dress up as fruit and vegetables for the spectacular annual procession through the City of London. The Company’s party not only featured human watermelons, bananas, lemons, strawberries, avocados, pine - apples and aubergines, but also John Goodwin’s magnificent award-winning Shire team, a traditional dray carrying the Master, Upper and Renter Wardens and their wives, eight amazing dancers from liveryman Sue Handy’s School of Dance, plus a drummer and flautist from the Guildford School of Music.
