Summer Court Meeting and Reception 2021

On the occasion of the Summer Court Meeting held at Ironmongers’ Hall on Friday 23rd July 2021 a number of Fruiterers made their first foray into the City of London for over a year.
The heavy agenda included the election of thirteen new members to the Freedom of the Company and one new Journeyman.
The Swearing-in of four Honorary Assistants.
The retirement of the Clerk John Grant together with the appointment and swearing of our new Clerk Lieutenant-Commander Melville Petrie also took place.
With Court matters concluded the Master and Wardens invited all those present to participate in a Summer Court Reception in the Courtyard at Ironmongers’ Hall where canapes and drinks were served in a very convivial and amicable ambience which was enjoyed by all.
