Launch of the 13th World Marmalade Awards & Festival
The World’s Original Marmalade Festival was founded, and continues to be run, by Liveryman Jane Hasell-McCosh at her home, Dalemain Mansion in Cumbria.
The Fruiterers present a trophy to the winning marmalade and, through Tiptree’s kind offices this marmalade is produced for a year and sold by Fortnum & Mason.Because of our close association with this Festival several Fruiterers were invited to this launch
Our Key Objectives Are:
- To promote excellence across all sectors of the fruit industry
- To support education and research that helps to develop the fruit industry
- To support the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation
- To raise funds for a selected group of relevant charities
