At the Summer Court Dinner at the Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon, on Friday 11th July 2025, the Master Fruiterer undertook the historic step of signing the Armed Forces Covenant on behalf of the Company. Accompanied by Brigadier Mark Ackrill, who signed on behalf of the MOD.
The covenant is a document wherein the Fruiterers pledge to support the Armed Forces. Within his speech the Master explained his feelings regarding the importance of supporting our military and veterans, especially in these politically challenging times.
Our Three Musketeers – Admiral Sir Phil Jones GCB DL, General Sir Bob Pascoe KCB MBE and Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton GCB all supported the signing and signed the covenant document as witnesses during the dinner.
